About Scorpion

Scorpion is the fifth studio album by Drake, which was released on June 29,2018. It is a double album consisting of 25 tracks. Though the album is a little longer in form, it a good for fans, for they can have a bunch of music to listen. The A-side is primarily hip hop, while the B-side contains more R&B and pop. Generally speaking, Scorpion is a balance of rap side of Drake and singing side of Drake.
Scorpion is primarily produced by Drake himself and features with a variety of producers. Besides, just like Drake's other albums, Scorpion also features guest appearances, for example, Jay-Z featuring in "Talk Up", and artists like Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj give vocals.
However, Scorpion received lukewarm reviews from critics. At Metacritic, Scorpion received an average score of 67. Comparing it to his previous successful album Take Care, the score may not be satisfying. Some people may think the album is redundant, while others think both Side A and Side B have much content of high quality.

Luckily, the critics reviews weren't stop proving Drake's big influence. Scorpion opened atop the Billboard 200 Chart with 732,000 album-equivalent units, which included 160,000 pure album sales. It became his eighth album to top the chart and broke the US's streaming record with 745.92 million streams in its first week.

Besides, three of songs from Scorpion - "God's Plan," "Nice for What," and "In My Feelings" were No. 1 hits on the US Billboard Hot 100. Additionally, Scorpion was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2019 Grammy Awards, and "God's Plan" was nominated for Record of the Year and Song of the Year, and won Best Rap Song.
