Cats is a musical written by Andrew Lloyd Webber based on T. S. Eliot's poetry anthology Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats. It first debuted in New London Theatre on May 11, 1981.

Cats is the highest-grossing musical in the world. It has been translated into more than 20 languages and performed in more than 20 countries around the world, including Austria, Germany, Japan, and China, etc.
